In the Chapter 9 for the NYC Marathon rewind for the 50th Anniversary, we go back to 2017, and the NYRR Hall of Fame Inductions. Bill Rodgers introduced the award for the late Tom Fleming, the 1973 and 1975 NYC Marathon Champion. Tom had died in the spring of 2017, due to a heart attack, at the age of 65.

The 2017 NYRR Hall of Fame recognized those past and present who influenced the New York Road Runners.

This is chapter 9, written by Jeff Benjamin on the 2017 NYRR Hall of Fame induction. Special thanks to Jeff Benjamin, and Mike Deering on the photographs. Here’s Chapter 9, 2017 NYRR Hall of Fame Inductions-Past & Present.
